Confidence leads to Better Sex

Better Sex? What has that to do with a good diet?

Well, when I was asked to write Feel Fantastic, my editor asked me to bring image and sex into my book. It not only sells books but also makes you read this article.

When I counsel, many clients tell me that when they are unhappy, they eat more for comfort and avoid any sexual advances, as they feel fat. They also eat more when lonely or anxious, making them feel unattractive and sad.

When you start eating well; you develop a new confidence. Change your eating habits and create more fun around you, finding comfort from friends, family and events, and enjoy a more satisfying sexual life. Here are some ideas to improve your self-esteem and enhance your sexual activity:

Improve your Confidence by:
• Waking up feeling positive. Avoid negative, bitter, envious or angry feelings
• Being a happy person yourself
• Getting excited by new events
• Mixing with positive people who make you feel special
• Meeting caring people at volunteer organizations such as the United Way, the Salvation Army, Rotary Clubs, Chamber of Commerce and many public service groups who would love your time and expertise. Volunteer work is very fulfilling
• Showing people you care. Listen to their conversation and comment on what they say. Limit talking about yourself all the time
• Reading newspapers and business journals
• Relaxing
• Developing a sense of humor; not everything is personal
• Becoming an expert on the movies, theater, world events, sports
• Finding a hobby that stimulates you
• Making a list of family members. Contact them now for holiday events and again for birthdays and celebrations. YOU organize the get-togethers
• Making a list of friends you like. Contact them and arrange a potluck dinner, picnic in the park, coffee at a cool cafι or a visit to a new exhibit at the art museum

Improve your Sex Life

Clients would confide in me that their sex life had improved with their new body shape and increased energy. Improve your sex life with the tips they shared:

• Of course, eat well and be active. Then …..
• Create a romantic atmosphere: flowers, candles, bubble bath
• Don’t complain about the day’s events
• Walk around as if you are proud of your body
• Focus more on your partner than yourself
• Invest in new and attractive underwear and nightwear
• Make the first move

With your increased confidence, you will feel healthier, happier and more fulfilled.
